Hi everyone,

So I am having issues with the steering modes not really doing anything and the steering feeling kind of sloppy.

I have a 2015 Mustang 3.7. I have changed out the radio for Sync 3 8” screen and I have the digital dash.

This is a recent development. Been going on for about 4 weeks now. About that same time, I did have the steering wheel off to get to the digital cluster to fix a rattle that I had. Not sure if that caused an issue. I have since taken it back to make sure everything was properly connected and everything seemed ok. I have also done the following to try and chase down the problem:

Had an alignment done: Shop made some minor adjustments to the toe and chamber but nothing substantial. They also gave the steering linkage a look at and nothing seemed to be wrong.

I tried resetting the car by disconnecting the battery for an hour.

Used Forscan to figure out the following. According to Forscan, the car is properly switching modes from Normal, Comfort, and Sport. However, when I look at the torque sensor read out, Normal and Comfort read about 3kn and Sport about 3.6kn. (This was done parked and on a flat surface.) The other thing I saw was that the steering wheel when centered, read about -11 degs. I tried to get the factory as built data for the PSCM module to reset it but Forscan kept giving me an error that the server was not available. So no luck there. I did go to the Motorcraft Service site and I did compare my As Built values to the factory values and they matched. So no issue there either.

Any thoughts on why there is no difference in the steering settings? Thanks in advance!
