Hey guys...

I've noticed with my car if I take a sharp or hard left, the steering wheel feels like it's sticking or resisting to move back. I recently came back from a trip to Deals Gap (Tail of the Dragon) and obviously was more noticeable there. It's always been there since i've owned the car, and I really haven't thought much about it. I'm approaching 26k miles, and obviously this is something I will be wanting to address with the dealership since i'm in the home stretch of the bumper to bumper warranty.

I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this? We all know how dealerships can be with warranty cases.

Fausted - Yep, I've had this steering issue since new as well. It is only left turns and sticks usually on sharp or hard turns. There seems to be no pattern to it and as such my dealer is 'unable to duplicate' after 2 tries. They asked Ford about a possible replacement of the EPAS gear, but Ford wants a 'fail code' before replacing this $1,000 + electronic steering part. Sad. Mine sits during the winter in MI, about to wake it up... If they won't replace it this summer, I'm going to pay my local guy to replace the EPAS gear and see what happens.
