Not to be "that guy" but why do I have a feeling any Mach1 limited car thing they will make for the Mach1 will be the EXACT same as the last 3 or so? Just this one says Mach1?

The Q850, Q500, McQueen Edition, Carbon White, that Police Interceptor...

They are all the same. Kit, same front bumpers, (in some cases same wheels just different colors), same handling bits, and either a ECU tune or super charger.

It feels like the SAME 2 packages but re-package 4-5 times, and each time its brought out like some wholly new thing, when it's like... just a different color.

As much as I love and support Steeda I'd really getting tired of seeing what is basically the same package over and over with a new name. It's why I couldn't get behind the McQueen edition. Its just a Q500/Q850 but with green parts. Nothing about it felt anything special went into it, other than "we'll paint the parts, that most will NEVER see green".

I REALLY hope that the MACH1 car is actually different.
What else are they supposed to do? The styling of the Mach 1 is perfect. Throw on some upgraded performance parts and call it a day.

That's all they did for the 2018 GT(3 times), and the Bullitt. At this point I don't get why they just don't say "hey our Q 500 and 850 packages now also fit the mach1" it would be the SAME thing as the last 4 "special" vehicles they did.

That makes sense. I would like to see them put together a whipple package for bullitt/Mach 1 owners that has motor mounts and spacers for the strut tower brace.......whatever they need to do so we can run a whipple and not lose the brace.

TJ,

some above mentioned the brace. Have you all looked into a gt500 style brace (obviously not magnesium) that allows you to run a whipple and keep the shock towered tied in?

I'd have to check with our R&D team - I'll have to see what they say.

An anodized aluminum GT500 style brace would suffice. The GT500 ties in the shock towers and the firewall. It snakes over the top of the supercharger.

Does that brace fit under the Mach 1 hood?

Looking forward to the build! Will this be the official thread for it?
