Just heard back from Steeda. Their brace for the gt/eco won't fit the v6 due to hood clearance. He did say they do not have an eta for a v6 strut tower brace but it is in future plans.

Just thought I'd share. Not a huge mod, but a quick cheap one I plan on doing.

You can still add the upper K-brace that ties the cowl to the strut towers. Makes a difference you can feel. Strut tower brace ties it up nicely.

Do you have a link for this?

This guy is selling one:
http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24187

Otherwise order here:
http://www.tascaparts.com/ford/must...ails-scat/?part_name=cross-bar&position=right

I'd also get the lower K-brace (super easy install) and matching lower cover. I'm installing that when I do the next oil change.

Too bad the strut bar wont work for the V6, there is a ford racing combo on ebay for $190 for the upper brace and strut bar.

Yeah that is a shame. That's exactly what I put on my car. Makes a pretty noticeable difference in handling, steering feel and ride composure.

Looks like Steeda is going to develop something for the V6 though.
Will let all of you know once we have an option for V6 owners!

I wonder if you could just put washers to lift the strut bar up enough to clear the intake but not hit the hood.

Will you sel the strut tower brace separately? The convertible V6 already comes with the strut tower to firewall brace. :)
