FWIW, I made the mistake of buying SR Performance bump steer kit figuring what could the difference be? Ultimately I ended up having Steeda install some parts, including the bump steer kit. The difference between the SR and Steeda bumpsteer kit bearing was night and day. I will never touch SR Performance crap again.
How do you like the Steeda bumpsteer kit?? Would it make a difference for me do u think?

Hey Mike, I greatly apologize for the misinformation.

I meant to say Orange. The rumor is that it was used by you and Nitto? You know how those pesky rumors go. Nonetheless, it's got every Steeda part I believe you make on it...and all stickered up to prove it
Because it has every Steeda Sticker it proves to have all our parts, I don't think so.. This definitely is not a Steeda test vehicle. Again, just miss information!

From what I've learned, only invest in this and the associated required alignment and bump steer measurement if you are on coilovers, have dropped the car more than 1.2" up front, and/or if you are planning on hitting tracks (or even aggressive mountain driving). The whole kit and kaboodle is not cheap in the end. I certainly don't have bump steer right now, though. :)

This go around I installed their bump steer kit and I can absolutely tell the difference. I am lowered with KW's but I kept the height at its maximum (roughly 1" drop) and overall have the same heigh I was at with drop springs on my 2015. For me I am very happy I installed them, now with no bump steer I can tell that I did need them on my 2015 I just didn't realize it. The feeling in the steering wheel over bumps both straight and cornering is stable now with almost no shake at all.

The sticker comment was sarcasm......

Stating the car was yellow just a mistake on my end.

Here is possibly where the rumor comes from:

So you guys used the car for before and after tire testing and promotional purposes.

Still doesn't change anything Mike. My point was backing his point up.....driver makes a big difference.

Now did you ever address the question in the other thread, about you claiming your material is "much stronger"?

Honestly, I couldn't tell you the times Allan ran, as I stopped paying attention once he started racing the car without a proper tune and a few other things I'm not quite on board with. But that's fine, his car is simply used to ensure our parts hold up. With him behind the wheel on Hoosiers, there's not a better way to test their durability.

Maybe I'll get my car there for some testing soon. For now I've been really enjoying The Firm though.

Both companies appear to produce excellent products. The pissing match is just stupid. Steeda seems to have excellent facilities and R&D and have been in the Mustang game for a long time. BMR caught my eye because of their design philosophy and the work they've done on other American cars. I've had the pleasure of dealing with Kelly Aiken at BMR who seems to be just the nicest guy and he was willing to give up a lot of time to help me. And IMO it seems like he cares more about the application that each customer wants and isn't willing to sell stuff to people just bc he can. He's honest about what you need vs. what you don't need. When I get outstanding customer service like that I stick with a company. I'll tell everyone about BMR and might even put their sticker on my car.

I like businesses who I think genuinely care about the customer being happy. They offer reasonable prices, excellent quality and outstanding customer service. 3/3 is rare to find among any business.

Alright! I got times to target. :)

Where is that fox body and can I "store it" for you?

You must take pride in your work, work should be your passion, it's like not having a job, it's an adventure not work. I use BMR graphic's on my designs and will continue to do so. They send graphics and I design the placement. Thanks BMR.

Lol..

Thread about S550 IRS, and that super cool pic is posted?

Trying way to hard my friend.
If trying to market the Steeda brand and show Mustang enthusiasts some of the rich history Steeda has in racing and that it runs in our DNA ... then guilty as charged.

You can never try too hard ... especially when it comes to customer support and customer service.

Best Regards,

TJ

Stuck between steeda and BMR. I already have the steeda differential insert bushings and steeda IRS bushing support. Was looking into buying the steeda sub frames braces or the BMR cradle lock out. Wondering if I should start switching to BMR or continue with steeda
You can't go wrong with either company. Once you know what you are trying to achieve, call each and discuss it with them or ask specific questions here. You'll end up achieving what you want out of the suspension.

Unfortunately, your question has started a minor flame war between the fan boys of both companies. Try your best to filter out the comments from people who think one product is better than the other for every car. We're lucky that there are several companies producing fine products for the S550. It's up to you to decide which combination of products from various companies works best for you.

On the BMWs I purchased suspension products from Ground-Control, Dinan and Turner. They each had their advantages for my application. Someone else might have liked the Dinan or Turner sway bars over the Ground-Control I used. It depends on what you are trying to achieve.
