Hi TJ,

I am not employed by BMR.

Just call things like I see them. I have a ton of GREAT information to share with the forum members! ;)
That’s great - no financial interest or compensation by BMR and you are still providing a wealth of knowledge to the forum - #dedication.

I have the steeda 2 point and the steeda rear subframe brace, along with a host of suspension mods, and the car turns really well, you feel connected to the road. Car is predictable. I definitely recommend the steeda parts, but im sure the BMR stuff is top notch too.

I have the Steeda K-member brace & IRS support braces installed now.

But I just ordered the BMR equivalents, so I'll post back here the difference once installed. Should be interesting.

My 2 cents on the K-member. I purchased the newer street BMR K-member from Lethal a month or so ago. Fitment was horrible. I called BMR support, received a runaround for 2 days, finally offered to buy the part from them that wasn't welded correctly and was given more runaround. Was told I was welcome to purchase an entire new K-member. I finally paid a local fabricator to make it fit. I understand tolerances on cars, but this piece wasn't even in the ballpark. My car has 400 miles on it and has never been in an accident. The BMR honestly had so much potential to be the best K-member out there but so many other small issues and still no install instructions after 9+months on the market. Support mentioned it was rushed to market and they were aware of some things they could do better. Had Steeda had stock I would have thrown the BMR in the dumpster and ordered the Steeda. I now need adjustable caster plates to fix the cross caster issues this piece created. This experience (primarily the customer service) has encouraged me to replace all of the BMR parts currently on the car.

Edit - I now see we weren't actually talking about the k-member, but I feel my overall experience is still applicable.

I'm sorry, but anyone claiming the Steeda K-brace is better than BMRs, I find impossible to take seriously.

I just uninstalled the Steeda and replaced it with BMR's, the BMR actually fit (whereas forcing in Steeda's to fit was fun...) and literally all the NVH (that started with the Steeda K-brace) is gone... The Steeda K-brace is moderately easier to install (assuming its fit doesn't need to be forced), that's literally all it has going for it, it is *structurally inferior* to the BMR K-brace, anyone can see this if they visually compare the two.

Same goes for the IRS rear support braces, BMRs is night and day better performance-wise.

It must be said though, relative to to BMR's, Steeda's K-brace and IRS supports are very easy to install, you don't really need any experience to do so, whereas with BMR it definitely requires some expertise and experience...
Only reason to go with Steeda is if you're unable to install the BMR yourself and can't afford to pay someone else to.
And even then, if you were to pay a shop to install the BMR parts (in addition to their original cost), its still totally worth it. Going from OEM to Steeda felt like a new car just like going from Steeda to BMR did.

Steeda's parts "upgrade" your suspension, BMR's "perfect" it...

Also Steeda seems to have trolls/larpers/marketers throughout much of online social media, and its really cringy, whereas BMR basically lets the customers speak for them.

Lastly, when it comes to sway bars, vertical links, toe links, etc., there probably isn't going to be much of a difference in quality/performance between the two companies, being that all those products are all structurally very similar.

How does the BMR K-brace fir with LTHs and is There any room to allow for an engine that has been lowered 1/4” - 1/2”? I have a brand new Steeda 2 point brace and can’t use it because I have Ultimate Headers LTHs with Steeda adjustable motor mounts and the engine has been lowered 1/4” or 1/2” (can’t remember because it’s been almost a year and a half now). I was pretty bummed that I couldn’t install the Steeda brace.

My engine isn’t lowered but I have BMR 4pt brace and Stainless Power LTHs. No issues at all

Do you by chance have any pics to show how much clearance you have between the brace and headers?
