I received a pair of Steeda jackig rails And when I unpackaged them one was longer then the other. Since Steeda couldn't explain why this was, I sent them back for an exchange pair.
Has anyone else experianced this same thing ?

The car is not symmetrical & we manufactured them to fit the car. That is why they are slightly different in length.

Our sales professional may not have known.

I literally got mine just about an hour ago from FedEx - didn't look very close but one looked longer than the other.

I think it mentions that in the video on their site too - that they're not meant to be interchangeable from one side to the other.

The jacking rails were by far the easiest mod I've done, except for the shift knob. They pay dividends every time you need to lift your car.

Sales “professional” may not be quite the correct term here... “associate”might be a better fit.

Or the OP could have just read the description, where it informs buyers of this. OP, I think you owe everyone an apology. Not, for being wrong, but bringing out these individuals.
Really? You don't know what you're talking about.
It's easy to identify which rail go goes where because of the angle iron ends. But ! There's nothing in the instruction that say one rail is longer then the other. Another supplier of these rails has a vid of installing these and he doesn't mention anything about the different lengths.

I'll be working by feel from the ground so if there's no mention in the instructions about different lengths. I can only assume I had a mismatched set. Especially after calling for clarification and getting none.

This second set I just got has the same lack of instructions as first set. Did I mention the the picture shown is not of these rails in the box?
