Solo Performance makes resonated x-pipes. I took my FP X-pipe and Kooks mufflers off due to being too loud and droning. Went with the Solo Performance Mach Thunder and now have no drone with all of the sound I need.I can’t upvote this hard enough, literally coming up with shxt for the hell of it…
How about actually build 1 with resonators built in so it doesn’t automatically sound assy under WOT
And funny enough, Lethal was (I think still is) the exclusive seller of the Corsa double H.Anyone else remember when Lethal Performance did an April Fools video where they fabricated a 15 H pipe exhaust? It was pretty funny. This was around the same time Corsa had released their double X and people started asking about a double H.
I’ve always been a skeptic of roller dyno repeatable accuracy. Most calibrated instrumentation is held to a tolerance of +/- 1%. The whole dynamic of rollers, tire contact, tire heat build up, dyno temperature from one pull to the next all affect load cell readings. As has been said I doubt it does anything other than sound different. I am also very skeptical on these power gains.f If it did work manufacturers would be fitting them to new cars. I can remember many years ago a device was sold in the UK that claimed it improved your fuel consumption by 25%, it was a valve that let extra air in while cruising. Needles to say it didnt match the claims.
That’s cool that you tried it…most companies would just say “here’s what we made, take it or leave it”. Good job Steeda. For those that had questions about adjusting the order ... we covered that
these resonator deletes will cause you to get tickets in states that enforce exhaust noise. OEMs are not gonna have special exhaust setups for certain states. it's not like they're saying it gained 50 hp or anything crazy. As has been said I doubt it does anything other than sound different. I started a thread several years back on svtperf-dot-com asking about the same h/x combo for an '03 Cobra. Even asking about switching the order of which is first. Unfortunately all I got for replies was "let us know how it goes if you do it'" lol. I was purely interested from a sound stand point and didn't expect or hope for any power gains. Nice to see someone actually put it into R&D and offer it.For those that had questions about adjusting the order ... we covered that
