Ok. Hopefully that will fix you up. I should get mine by the end of next week, I hope I don't have any issues.

So i'll be the first to admit that I jumped on the bandwagon and switched from a jlt to a steeda. I pretty much just wanted to see what all the hype was about LOL!

The install was pretty straight forward. I cant say that the butt dyno can notice any difference, but my intake air temps definitely went down. I was having high air temp issues with my JLT, and I couldnt really understand why. I like the fact that the Steeda uses the OEM connector to the CAI port from the front bumper. Big shout out to david for the hook up on the black friday pricing!

with the JLT my air temps were always like 12-18 above ambient for some reason. I could never really figure out why, when others with the same setup were reporting much better temps. When I switched to the Steeda my temps are now 7-9 above ambient normally. Cant really explain why. I think it had something to do with the connection to the port in the front bumper. I had issues with it lining up right and staying snug.

Steedas box seals the engine temps out better then jlts not fully sealing box. Thats my guess. Plus probably the part youre talking about.

I'm thinking it's this as well. Not the snorkel. But I'm usually 5-9 above ambient when moving with my JLT. Don't know why his were in double digits all the time. And not as bad of a heat wash at idle since I put the 170* thermostat in and the fans aren't constantly running like they were with the Lund tune before the Tstat. I still think my Roush airbox was better on my 13 paired with my CDC upper grille when it comes to IAT.

how the color match? I've been thinking about using the vht chevy orange to paint the intake tube, coils, and engine cover. it looks really close to co.

Finally got to go drive mine around, my inlet temps are seriously high, gotta figure out what's going on. I'm on average 15 degrees higher than ambient when driving. Guess I'll check to make sure the funnel is lined up properly heading to the grill. Might open the grill up too. Had to send some data logs to Lund tho, car was pulling quite a bit of negative knock

make sure the couplers are sealed around each piece of the intake and maf and it's tight too.
