It will help, especially in Germany.
Without only dedicated track cars that are not street legal could use the part.
With TÜV-Approval everyone could use it.

Everyone can use it right now, you just have to swap it back for the stock piece every two years to pass inspection ;)

Nope, you'll loose your insurance in Germany when inspected by police or in case of an accident.

At this time this product will only be sold as off road use only! We will consider the TUV or DEKRA certifications at a later date.
The road race version is still under final development.
Thank you,

That's a LOT of work. But even if someone is okay with that, is there a penalty for using it between inspections if caught? I don't know Germany so don't know if shops could work on cars with it or what happens if car is in an accident with the part installed.

I'm sure there is, but it doesn't stop people from doing the same thing over here in the states all the time. Either you keep it stock and pass inspections, as applicable in your state, or you do what you want and pay the costs associated with either returning to stock for each inspection or "knowing a guy".

If you get caught with a part that is not allowed the police will literally take away your keys, and tow your car.
Then you get the chance to return the car to standart/allowed parts, but nontheless you will have to pay a fine, towing, storage and so on.

We cant even install the Rims we want here without a proper certificate of strength and getting the car checked if smth is rubbing.

Many thanks for the consideration of a TUV acceptance. I would like to encourage Steeda to have such an inspection carried out- you are already an ISO certified company as far as I know. The Ford Mustang was at times the sports car with the highest registration numbers in Germany! Hard to believe, no BMW, Porsche, etc. Numerous friends of mine in Germany with their Mustangs would be happy to be able to use the K-members and other Steeda parts legally.
Before Steeda completes the complete TUV approval process, the data I requested in the above posting on the stability of the tubes and the material used would be helpful. In individual cases, a so-called individual inspection can be carried out by the holder of the Mustang at the TUV station. This would allow the K-member to be used legally on an individual base without a general TUV certification for this item.

What will be the weight reduction when compared to the D.R. K-member and the stock ford one?
When will it be available?
What will be the price?
Will it accept the original oem motor mounts?

:flag:

Thank you!!:like:
