Many thanks for the consideration of a TUV acceptance. I would like to encourage Steeda to have such an inspection carried out- you are already an ISO certified company as far as I know. The Ford Mustang was at times the sports car with the highest registration numbers in Germany! Hard to...
No option, I'm sorry.
Here in Germany, cars have to undergo a technical test every two years at an official test center. Changes to safety-relevant components such as the K-member must be included in the vehicle documents. This is only possible with the information I requested on the stability...
@SteedaTech: Can you please give details of the strength of the Road Racing K-member? Please refer to the table in the link below.

Yield Strength, Tensile Strength and the chemical composition of the material would be helpful. With...
I guess the installation manual gives you available technical data as well as the range of adjustability - but right, no starting height setting is given as far as I can see. Probably the highest possible point of adjustment comes closest to OEM height?
You could mail to [email protected]...
I can give you a link where I got all necessary information on my KW V3 coilovers (see download section):
http://www.kwsuspensions.net/kw-gewindefahwerk-variante-3-inox.html?typ=28661
It's in German and English as well and all relevant measurement given in the installation manual is in mm...
Thanks, Jamie!
Before I will place my order I want to be sure that it fits as shipping cost from US over the Atlantic is signifcant and therefore return shipment not an option.
@Jmeo : Which kit did you order for your KW coilovers? Please keep us posted if it fits. @TJ: I still have no clue what's the difference regarding the coilover kit (555-8161). Your posting is about the same I can find on your website. Is it 10mm or 12mm? 1.5mm thread? As far as I know for KW...
@tj@steeda : Could you please give us an update? Apparently there are more different kits available now:
http://www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-mustang-rear-billet-shock-mounts-vogtland-bilstein-kw-roush-555-8161/
Any details on your kit for "Coil over shocks" (555-8161)?
I have KW V3 and still am...
My personal experience with the Stahlbus drain plug is fine - see above. Mine does not stuck out too much from the pan as the G-Trac K-Member Brace from Steeda is lowest to the ground and my car is lowered.
I agree that the price they charge from US cutomers is ridiculous.
In their German...
I'd recommend this:

Fine German quality. Have used this drain plug a few thousand miles on my lowered Mustang GT Convertible (KW V3 Kit) and no issues so far. However, I have the G-Trac K-Member Brace from Steeda installed and it gives some kind of cover to my...
Ridiculously expensive?
It's a complete suspension kit (with coil springs and shock absorbers).
