Also have a question for OP and others who have installed the Hellion.
My Installer asked if I want to run the PCV system(I am technically challenged so have no idea what that is) but highly recommends I run a oil catch can so that I don't have oil backing up in to the engine.
Is that what you guys are doing too?

Just be careful with the aftermarket fuel systems.

I have the return style system with triple Walbro pumps on my 2012 with a snake bite TVS and built motor because I wanted to run E85.

It makes about 800 rwhp @17 psi on E85.I also had a race gas tune(I ran 93 with Torco the few times I drive it in the Winter)

I have not liked the way the car has run since I did that . I mean it runs fast/makes plenty of power(10.3@138 with the MT82) but now where smooth like It did with the stock system. Personally I think that was the point that the car was no longer nice to drive daily.
I will never do that again .... make so much power by using E85 that the stock fuel system can not keep up . I would rather just run expensive race gas/or torco as long as the stock fuel system will keep up

Certainly not going to do it on the 15's-I want to keep them as "nice" daily drivers as much as I can.
that's the tune, not the fuel system

my 15 drives flawlessly on our fore triple pump setup

Agreed, although a 22v jms bap and id1000s is holding 800rwhp on E85 as well.
That's the same setup we are including in our base turbo kit.

If guys are seeing 800+ through the factory pump, that's fantastic.

I'd guess that's likely the bleeding edge of what the factory pump can support on E85.

E85 burns roughly 30% faster than gasoline, so you need 30% more pump + injector over a comparable gasoline setup.

Exactly, that's purely tuning.

E85 shouldn't drive any different than a gasoline car.

Only difference is rougher cold start in cold weather.

I usually run E85 in the spring, summer and fall.

I'll switch back to gasoline over the winter months.

Yeah, E85 can be a little tricky over a remote tune.

WOT tuning, no issue.

But cranking:cold start and idle on E85 can be more finicky.

I'd personally recommend a local tune where the car can be monitored.

then I would send in a datalog of any occurences that your having for some tweeks[/QUOTE

We have done literally hundred of hours of data logging from when I had the 2.9 whipple to the current set up after the auto swap.

When I say it does not run as smooth, I am not talking about any specific instances of stalling. The engine runs fine, but just not as well in my opinion.
I have ZERO complaints about Lund's tune and car make plenty of power.

I just noticed a big difference going from the stock fuel system to the return system-May be it is just my car but I certainly will never do it again based on my experience.

Hellion takes care of the PCV system in their instructions. It seems everyone has an opinion on this as well. Some use the Hellion way, some vent the PCV with some breathers and some use the catch can.

Personally, I went with a catch can setup...

Hey I hope you or any one else who has installed the Hellion kit can help.

My guy doing the install thought he was finished but told me it was not making more than 1.5 psi of boost after we loaded the BBR base tune.

He is really good and meticulous in all his work and he said he rechecked everything again (spent the whole day) but has not been able to find the cause.

He seems pretty sure it is has to be the wastage or blow offs but is not sure what he is missing.
Not sure if this helps but when I asked about lag on another forum below is what I was told.

"The lag is kind of misleading...... The kit is designed to have really good drivability so in order to achieve that Hellion specs the bov's to be open until you're building enough boost to close them. That makes the turbos vent boost until you overcome the bov's opening and the boost closes the valves. In other words, you have to give it 3/4 throttle to get it to spool quickly. There's almost no lag with the 55's."

Please help!!!!.... anyone-I am so bummed.

Yep. Make sure the vacuum lines are hooked up to the right ports...

Also how are they checking this? Manual boost gauge I hope? My auto car factory boost gauge shows 3-4 lbs low so when I make 6 psi it only shows 1-2 on the factory gauge...
