Do you already have a tune? Or are you planning on it soon?

Where'd you get your tunes from and what's wrong? I am planning on getting headers in the near future so I'm weighing out all my options.

According to the 2nd page, 1st tune is from Bama and 2nd is from a local tuner.

This is why i bought the mak cat deletes for now ,its not the headers they are proven to make power, but to many tuning issues with longtubes.I cant believe its that hard to get the tune right for these longtubes.Did that much really change from the 14,s ecm, just when tuning headers?

Welp, went and dyno'd mine today air was fairly similar to when I dyno'd it with just the 93 "Strategy tune" that comes with the SCT X4 Programmer. There has to be more left in the tune, kind of disappointed with the numbers. Only gained 11whp with a full exhaust. After seeing people gain about 30ishwhp on just a header swap.

That is awfully low for a stick car on a dynojet with std correction factor, you may want to look into different tuner options. Did you dyno the car in 5th gear?

Thanks for posting your numbers ...Your A/F ratio is straight line just like mine but not as lean ... But no where near the 11s A/F ratio that one of the members said it should be at WOT ..

I have made over 500 pulls on the dyno, almost 100 pulls alone on the 11 to 15 cars, N/A they need to be in the upper 11's. Any good tuner will tell you that. Whos knows what that dyno was set to for stoich though or if the tuner knew what he was doing, way too many variables.

Yes, it was a Lund tune. I spoke with John Lund II through email, and he's saying from the datalog that I could have shitty fuel. He's saying its showing knock activity on the log and its pulling 1Âş of timing and for that reason it wont pull above base timing. :/ He already recommended an Oil Separator if I didnt have one, so I picked one up. He said it was "looking better, but add Torco" So I did. He said it cleared up a bit more but didnt say if it corrected. Now today hes saying its still showing knock. Dont really know how to fix the issue, i'll try a different gas station I guess. I usually go to Shell. But I'd think the Torco additive wouldve corrected the shitty gasoline issue.

I know how you feel ... Mine ran great and much faster without the headers ... I'm sorry you are unhappy and wish some how I could help ...But I'm in the same boat and in the same creek with no paddle ..

That doesn't sound right to me??
That means you would need to run Torco all the time then? Seems odd.
