I hope that was your problem! How did your pulls feel?
Can't really tell '' 40 MPH in 5th gear for 3 seconds didn't tell me much ... First gear hit was real fast and then let off ..Here in FL you will get busted for drag racing if they hear your spin the tires ... 1500 fine and lose your car ...15 over the limit they charge you with drag racing ... Ask me how I know ...lol :doh:

I'll will have to go to the drag strip to know more ..

Going to call the dyno guy in the AM and see if I can get it on the dyno first thing ... We have all mustang race weds night and I would like to go and race the car if the dyno pull looks ok.. :thumbsup:

Just curious but how many miles did you drive the car after the header install or between tunes. I'm wondering if your ECU simply needed time (miles) to relearn the tune and other parameters of the engine and such.

Just curious but how many miles did you drive the car after the header install or between tunes. I'm wondering if your ECU simply needed time (miles) to relearn the tune and other parameters of the engine and such.
Not many , maybe 100 miles or so with the latest tune .. You could be right on that ..

Ok just got back from the dyno ... 4th gear pulls 97 deg in the dyno room .. 417 HP and 369 TQ at 6800 .. So I picked up 16 HP over that last pull .. AFRs where very safe ..I will post up the dyno chart later .. Right now I'm getting ready to go to the track ..

We did try 2 pulls in 5th gear ... And it was making more HP and TQ but it would stop pulling at around 5500 like it was on the speed limiter ... It did that both times in 5th gear so we used 4th for the rest of the pulls .. I'm guessing it hit the speed limiter because it stopped pulling at the same RPM and Speed each time we tried it .. I do have 3.31 gears .. From the looks of the 5th gear pulls and it had pulled to 7k and not stopped at 5500 it would have made about 12+ more HP than forth gear .. That would have put me around 430 HP.. I would think the tuner would have turned off the top speed limiter but it looks like he didn't ..

Yes you were hitting the speed limiter, easy to fix in the tune. Also if you made those numbers in 4th gear then in 5th which is the correct gear to dyno your car in then you would be close to 430. Your tq does still seems a little low even though it was in 4th gear, I'm sure your tuner can address that as well.

Just a note ... They used a new 02 sensor but it shows 12.8 while my AFR gauge on the dash was reading 11.8 ... Every pull it was a full point different between the two readings .. They also printed it out in the MPH scale , I should have had them print it out in the RPM scale ..Doesn't really matter seeing I was just looking for peak numbers anyway .. It just makes the chart look funny printed in MPH mode ..On my bike dyno I always do RPM scale ..

They had done one other 2015 Mustang back in 3/15 and it was done in 5th gear , it made 432 HP .. So I checked the data on that run and it was 73 Deg and low humidity .. My run as you can see was in the mid 90s and higher Humidity ..

No , I think there is more in it ..I have 2 more tunes to try and I hope to find a bit more HP ..But I'm still pretty happy that the AFR is safe now .

The new tunes should have the speed limiter turned off ( I hope ) and then we can make a pull in 5th gear and get a better reading ..:thumbsup:
