One of the installers I spoke with was trying to scare me out of using the "canned" tune, but I think he had a vested interest in making more $ off the dyno. But now I'm thinking of getting the full system with tune & injectors, and just paying someone local to install it.

I have a Livernois tuner coming in a couple days - when I bought it I didn't think an SC was on the horizon. So now I'm wondering if I should return the tuner, or if @Livernois can supply a good tune for this ProCharger kit - either their own tune or if PC's tune can be installed with the LMS tuner hardware...

Couple things come to mind.

#1) You can always buy the kit, and check it out yourself and see if you would like to do the install at your house like a lot of people are.

#2) The tune we send is very very safe, and leaves all factory things in place such as speed limiter, knock sensors, check engine lights, etc.

#3) You can always have it custom tuned later down the road if you want to, not something you have to do out of the gate. :)

#4) Sadly our tune is Diablo based, so it will not install into the LMS unit. However they are very good tuners, and might have something for you, never hurts to ask them. :)

And Finally

#5) Congratulations on joining the land of BOOOOOOOST! :)

What would be recommended to achieve approximately 650 ish wheel hp? Would the H.O kit be sufficient for this? Would you need any additional parts other than a pully and a custom tune to achieve this? What kind of boost would you have to run? The only other mod I would be running would be a cat back or x pipe. Thanks!

Livernois will be doing my procharger car in the next month or so if you can wait. They will have the data to make you a tune id assume

Hi, I just had a Procharger H.O. install done at Evolution Performance in PA. The only mod is Gibson cat backs. They got 668 RWHP & 558 RWTQ. The car is still running the stock header & cats. There is no problem doing this. Check out the build on the Members Mustangs Projects/Journal thread under
the Green Machine. Because of the gained powere I will be doing half shafts a drive shaft & a clutch.

Awesome Anthony! I'll hold onto the LMS tuner then and roll with ProCharger's tune until the LMS one comes out (assuming there's a difference).

We have made 650rwhp with our stock HO system (with P-1SC-1)
Here in house, on a touch over 10psi.

However we don't sell a "system" at that boost level.

So you can order an HO Tuner kit, add whatever injectors you want, pulley the boost for whatever you want, and have a dealer tune it for that. :) Hope that helps answer the question.

Curious, whats the difference between running 10.5 psi through a P-1SC-1 and running 10.5 psi through the D-1SC-1? Will power levels be different?

Wondering whats more beneficial if 650whp is your goal, paying for the upgraded pulley or paying for the D-1SC-1

These will be nearly identical.
A P-1SC-1 is just a trimmed down D-1SC

The D-1SC upgrade is $230 retail.
The pulley is free at your time of purchase. Just pick the boost level you want.

So would you ship a complete stage 2 system with pulley and tune for 10psi out of the box?

The system makes a little over 9psi on the street, tune included.
Depending on your altitude/air density it might just make 10psi.

So sounds like you will be set. :)

What boost level?
10.6 but I was told that when the dyno run was done it was really cold and that in the warmer more humid weather that boost would be a little lower.

What tune did you use? The ProCharger package?
