Does anyone have any experience with the steeda minimum drop springs? Thinking of these just to lower a little with 25mm spacers (as i dont fancy having to shave studs if lower sized spacer). If anyone has photos of this set up that would be great. Thinking the progressives will be just too low for me.

I don’t like the bolt on spacers at all, I went with 15mm spacers and longer studs, much safer option to me.

Ford supplied Eibachs with 15mm eibach spacers, no rubbing.

Is that 15mm all round? What springs is that on? Thanks

Yes I have seen these springs before, looks like they are a progressive spring but i have never been able to find what their spring rate is. Did they come with bump stops? Do you have a link to the spacers by any chance? Thanks

They didn’t come with bump stops, I made the mistake of fitting them and not cutting the stops, it was awful, suspension was so harsh, then read on here about cutting them, took about an inch off all 4 and it rides so much better, I’m actually using the springs lol! They’re very easy to cut, I cut the fronts by just reaching in and lifting the boot and using a craft knife, the rear damper top mounts had to be removed to do the rear. I used these guys in Germany for the spacers, came very quickly

I had 25mm spacers, stock wheels, with Ford Performance springs and the stance was mean.

I'm about to replace my Ford Performance shocks and springs for adjustable Pedders, so I can adjust the hight and ride quality.

Steeda minimum drop springs. No spacers. I think they offer the perfect amount of lowering and spring rate.

II went down the adjustable coilover route with my other car.
The mustang is the DD now so i think im just sticking with springs for it. I'm tempted by the Ford supplied Eibach pro springs Mark has on his as they actually seem an ideal drop of 25mm F & 20mm R. I asked Eibach about their spring rates and they replied it is 'internal data' and they are 'not allowed' to pass on that data. But did say it is about 30% stiffer than OEM springs, which seems a lot and would make it a very stiff spring going it a spring rate of approx F 215 R 960!!

The BMR pefrmance sp080 spring also seems a very good option, close to OEM sporing rate and maintains that raked profile with 1 inch front and 0.5inch rear drop.

That does look good, it's just after a while the front will start to bother me and i will be thinking if only i went a little lower at the front.

I don’t think mine are much firmer than standard, if at all, I’m happy with them, although I would like to fit some Ford performance or Bilstein dampers with them at some stage.
