Can anyone help. I have just fitted a set of steeda linier sport springs with stock dampers. I have noticed a clunking noise on bumps and uneven road surfaces at low speed. But nothing at high speeds. Is this normal for the stiffer lowered springs,

Check alm the bolts are tight for starters. Otherwise, the springs may not be seated correctly on the damper platforms. I recall Gibbo had this issue when he fitted his?

Mine was never springs clunking, it was just a lose bolt in the rear on one of the lower arms which was not quite torqued enough. Never had an issue with springs clunking.

If they are seated right and everything done upto correct torque values should be fine.

Not normal......:)

I have the same springs and dampers, and have absolutely no clunking...

Did you fit the shorter bump stops or cut down the originals??

Thanks for all the help. CLUNK NO MORE as I also fitted Steeda front and back sway bars. The back one comes with lubricant front did not and was dry. Now front lubricated and suspension really tight and no issues with clunking:thumbsup:.
