But at least no one can clamp you...Yea, the drug dealer / Puerto Rican bad boy look is probably not quite right for Sussex and besides, it involved a) drilling and b) losing too much boot space.

or flat bed you :lol:But at least no one can clamp you...
Small concern. I'd worry more about the $2k of body repairs every time you forget to straighten the front wheels before getting out. LoLNot my thing, I wonder what the ride is like.
What happens if you get an air leak ?
Bingo, it's active ride adjustable. He doesn't drive it like that; that's the whole point. Speedbump - up she goes.
As for silver wheels; what's not to like ;)
:shrug:Not entirely sure that phrase was coined about wheels...Bingo, it's active ride adjustable.
As for silver... once you go black; you never go back ad my Corsa had black... so could never go back:shrug:
ill never understand this lookI can't afford to lose any ground clearance, but am keen to improve on stock performance.
Would you guys have any ideas for suspension options which might stiffen but not lower the Mustang?
Rural living means a farm track to the main road and a 5 inch minimum ground clearance otherwise I start to beach it.
For about 5 minutes I was toying with a "fully bagged" air suspension thing as that can go a bit higher (and much lower) than stock . But it is, sadly, a bit of a daft solution:
Livin' the dream.
Bingo, have chatted to him on facebook before about them, they're pricey as fuck iirc.I've seen this car in the flesh and chatted to Ed.
It's fully adjustable but he sets it to low when parked, it does look very cool. It can be raised much higher than standard I believe.
It's not a cheap option, not sure how much though.
I was bored today so I put my car on ramps and decided to dial in my pedders. From factory they are set on 8 from hard.I think the basic ride height is about right for day-to-day stuff; though I intend to fit 20s, I think I'll have to lower it an inch to return it to the height it's at now. Not sure if just springs will do the job at the moment.. I'd certainly look at a pedders-style install to be able to tweek it
Thank you - very useful to know!I was bored today so I put my car on ramps and decided to dial in my pedders. From factory they are set on 8 from hard.
The ride has been transformed but maybe slightly on the harsh side. So I moved midway to 15 and wow what a difference.I would say it's like stock but obviously without the bounce at the rear. They really soak up the potholes, before they went through them with confidence but you felt them.I might take them back towards hard a couple of clicks, but really happy with them.
From what I've learned about these things you are seeing it "slammed" in those photos. ie, fully down to the ground. Normal driving clearance is higher, which is the big selling point of these systems, they can adjust the ride height on the fly.Speed bumps and bad roads around here would kill that.
