I got my 2017GT last weekend, the spoiler that was on it was broken and got replaced by a new GT350 lookalike one.
As I'm pretty lucky to live near the German border I took her for a spin there and around the 110 / 120 mph I heard a bang and there was my spoiler bend in half.
I'm glad nothing broke off and it got back straight on it's own but it does show what a cheap replica can do (from what I found the thing was around $250 ish, didn't know at the time.
As I currently don't have the money for a good one my plan is to add some additional supports around the middle as I have 2 (taped up, by the race stripes) holes there from the, probably, original spoiler that was on there.
If anyone is interested I can post some before/after shots when done.

So if you can save up and get a good one do so, otherwise you have to come up with ways to reinforce the spoiler somehow.

Posting this a year later so I’m not sure if you found a spoiler yet, but I got the GT500 spoiler with a gurney flap. It actually does work. A huge difference I noticed was my breaking distance. It got way better. There’s a bend on an on-ramp from one highway to another near me, and with the stock base “spoiler” i was able to take it at 70mph, but with the GT500 spoiler, i was able to take it at 110mph. Handling improved too around corners.

I purchased mine from I5Autohaus. It was around $650.
