Mine had all of the hardware but was not seated properly. A nice solid whack with a dead blow hammer solved my gap issue. Just put a half used roll of paper towels on the splitter at the clips and whack the shit out of it. My has had zero issues since then.
The Ford install video shows this step pretty well.
Yes, figure out what's wrong and correct it. 175+ mph at Daytona and mine has held strong.

Awesome to be able to use his lift. Also, there’s a guy on facebook that can put ya together a hardware package very quickly, he already knows the part #s.

Almost had to use him until i found 2 unopened bags the tech didn’t even open to “install” mine
