Hehe so true. I do most of the above, but never burnouts. I mean even I realize generating tons of smoke at a stop light isnt very considerate. As far as revving, hell yeah. Doesnt hurt anybody and everybody secretly wants to hear a 5.0 rumble. Truth. 99% of people arent going to be mad, they usually smile and nod.

Unfortunately, exhaust note does bother people and not everyone wants to hear it. Why exhaust noise laws exist...I know people who have received HOA notices, pulled over by PO's, and of course the pedestrian that pulls out the finger because they don't like you showing off...

Just fyi, I love cars, motorcycles, trucks, and even bigger trucks. I'm on no side. Sh!t, I like the economical vehicles as well. They all have their purpose.

When the roads are empty I go full ass hat when the mood strikes. But there's a time for everything.

I had a guy do this to me once (pull a gun). According to traffic laws he was completely in the wrong, but he was so pissed that his poor driving decision almost cost him a scratch on his cycle, he pulled a gun. Completely ridiculous. When the adrenaline hits it sometimes blocks rational thinking. Best thing to do is let the moment pass and post about the idiot on a forum.

It never ceases to amaze me how many A-Holes can fit on this planet at the same time. They are now numbering in the Billions.

You did the right thing by not escalating it any further. I get that it pissed you off, it sure would have done the same to me, but you probaly shouldn't have flipped him off.

So out here in California....last month a guy gets cut off, he flips the guy off and it was game on. They were on the highway and the other car that did the cutoff had a passenger, they kept getting in front of this guy that did the flipping off, and kept slamming on the brakes.

This goes on for several miles. Then the road rage dudes figures he's had enough and he has his passenger pump two rounds into the guy's car. The guy pulls over and calls the CHP. They of course never caught the guys.

It was unknown it they were trying to hit they guy and missed. You just never know who or what you're flipping off. It just isn't worth it.

So yesterday on my way home from work, this assbag in his lifted redneck F250 with baja lights all over it pulls up next to me with my windows down and starts flooring it to spew black shitty diesel smoke out all over me.

I see this and speed up enough to avoid it, flip the bird and get over another lane.

He proceeds to hop a curb, pass two cars, get next to me, and spits on my hood. Then immediately floors it, spewing more shitty smoke, and weaves in and out of 5 cars and on the shoulder to get away.

Was I going to chase him down? Not at all. I could give two shits about getting even or fighting the guy. Was I mad as hell? You betcha. Would have loved nothing more than to see him roll his truck and then walk away (no morbid wishing death on anyone)

No pictures or anything, went home and cleaned it off and now I have a clean spot on my hood which makes the rest of the car look dirty.

No real point to posting this other than to vent. Karma is a bitch for that guy...

This shit can get a person shot.

Some idiot tried to do the exact same thing to me in my mustang. Good thing is the police were right behind him. He got fined big time. One of the coppers even wanted a ride in my car after!
