I was walking to my car after dinner last night in LA and came upon a hit and run. My car was parked close by, so I checked my dashcam. It happened in the left turn lane. It was such a minor bump, I don't know why they would run, but they almost caused another accident getting out of there.

It's not one of us S550 drivers, but if you know anyone driving an older gray mustang with a "mustang" vinyl stripe along the door that was on Santa Monica Blvd turning left onto Crescent Heights at 10:21pm last night... tell them they're a douchebag! :paddle:

I have a Power Magic Pro wired into my fuse box. It will record until the battery dips below a set voltage so not to drain the battery... usually a couple hours.

$399 with a 32gig SD card and the Power Magic Pro to let it record when car is turned off. Not sure if there are better deals available; just happened to see this one.

Got mine at blackboxmycar.com for around $360 including Power Magic and a 16gb card.

this looked like a stupid accident. Someone messing with a cell phone. Probably 1-2 mph though

more than likely the driver that bolted was either drinking, or driving on an expired / suspended license...

What the hell were they thinking even letting that happen? They'd already stopped, just not paying attention I guess, idiot.

Does the Power Magic Pro mean it has its own internal battery, or does it run off the car's battery when the car is parked?

Hard to tell anything from the video, other than you can see the guy in the front car get out pretty quick.

I wonder if the front car guy came out yelling trying to fight. If so can't blame the Mustang at that point if it was just a tap.

It makes no sense to run on a tap like that.
