Hit an unseen speed bump pulling into a gas station the other day. Slammed the front undertray hard. Non-HP front lip is fine, but it busted out both forward mount stantions on the undertray. PN MR3Z-17626-A. MSRP $595. I can get it cheaper online, but most places quote ~$200 for shipping since it's LARGE. I'd rather just pay my local dealer MSRP and pick it up myself rather than pay some trucking company $200 to deliver.

Anyone ever find a good deal on one with good shipping?

Its not the splitter, which is -AA. Just the undertray.

If you go to FordParts.com you can search this splitter and it gives an option for Pickup. Seems like it has a different part number here but shows up as the HP undertray (or I call it splitter). Good luck.

That is the right PN, just took out the dashes. Thats a pretty good option, I guess it gets shipped to one of my local Ford dealers. Thanks! Saves $100 over what my dealer wants...

Hmmm, still shows same MSRP for me, must be a dealer thing. I'll try several in the area, see if it comes up different.

$600 for that plastic!!

Looks like different dealers are charging different prices. I found one about 100 miles away where I can save about $60. 4 others near me are all msrp. At least the one to save $60 is on the way to my brothers house, so I can make a day out of it.

I cracked mine as well and was equally appalled by the replacement cost. I called all of the dealers around me until I found the best price. Used Ford points to cushion the blow, but I still ended up paying 476 minus the Ford points.

One of the many reasons I'll never lower my car.

Try car-part.com or similar. There are so many wrecked Mustangs parts are plentiful. May even find one close by.

One of the reasons I got a Mustang.

Are you lowered or not?

At least here, if you damage your car and your car is ok with all the road regulations: i.e. not lowered in this case, you can have the municipality or the private who put that speed bump pay the repairs.

That's because they did something that will damage existing cars who comply to the regulations.

I’ve seen some YouTube plastic repairs using a solder to embed staples and then covered over with melted zip ties. I don’t know if it applies to your case though.

I saw a recent post from them that they cannot cut deals on shipping. And their shipping on that part is ~$200. Their price is low, but the shipping kills the price.

I've seen those types of repairs, but there are pieces missing around the stanchions. The hit really shattered the plastic in that area. As well as a few long cracks.

I bit the bullet and bought a Ford part, the one I mentioned earlier. I'll do the pickup' got it for about $60 under MSRP.

Thanks for all the ideas.
