Does look like it, you can see some fibers up close. That’s fiberglass.
Sure looks that way. But like I said, it’s not a skin and a fully forged cf piece would cost prohibitive. So if this conversation is over I can get back to talking about my buildThat’s fiberglass.
All good man, different strokes for different folks. I don’t pay your car note so my opinion of your mod choices don’t mean jack to you. There’s a difference between constructive criticism and being a tool. I’ve never been one to follow a crowd and I’ve yet to see anyone go this route. I’m sure they’re out there otherwise Trufiber wouldn’t make them. But I’ll definitely stand out lolGlad you found something you like.
For my tastes which I know you DGAF about, it’s too busy for me. I prefer exposed carbon weave if I were to pick something.
Now I will go take my opinion, put it in a pipe and smoke it.
Peace out.
Badass look to it, bro.I’ve never been a huge fan of carbon fiber. Yes it looks nice, but to me it got overplayed and a bit overdone on many cars. I definitely can see it’s appeal but I wanted to do something a bit different. My GT500 came with the CF interior and while it looks nice it just wasn’t what I envisioned for my build.
But then, Terrance from Signature Wheels introduced me to Forged CF. Before I even took delivery of my car I jumped on the opportunity to order his Python hood vent in Forged CF and the finished product is outstanding! (But more on that part coming soon, it’s currently being PPF’d and ceramic coated)
This post is about my interior pieces…I had to change them as the 2x2 weave just isn’t my jam….and Trufiber came to the rescue. These pets arrived today and I can’t wait to install them!
I’ll be installing these once I get the radio trim panel from them which is also forged and the PAC audio OEM integration (Don’t want to be pulling these after install). Also coming is a Forged S-wing
Stay tuned!
For? I didn’t buy my car to flip it or resell it. I buy cars to mod them and drive them so stock parts don’t mean anything to me but a source of recouping some of my mod expenses.Enjoy your purchase. Make sure you keep your stock parts.
Did you ever get these pieces installed in your car? I am very interested to see how they look. For? I didn’t buy my car to flip it or resell it. I buy cars to mod them and drive them so stock parts don’t mean anything to me but a source of recouping some of my mod expenses.
I’m actually doing that now but having some fitment issues. Waiting to hear back from Trufiber to see what they think the issue is.Did you ever get these pieces installed in your car? I am very interested to see how they look.
