Can’t wait ! It reminds me of when people lost their hubcaps
I tried to keep an open mind. I bought black wheels for my winter tire/wheel set up, while my other wheels are factory silver ones. It clearly depends on your car color, but I really look forward to spring and taking the black wheels off each year. On most colors, black wheels remind me of the cheap plastic toy cars on which the manufacturer saved money by not putting the foil stickers on the wheels, so the black tire and wheel all looked as a single piece -- which they were.

Now your car looks great. If they are black they need the silver wheel. You wheels are my favorite ones for sure

I got rid of my black wheels, never really cared for black wheels. (I guess technically my rear drag wheels are black chrome)

Prefer black w/ silver/polished/brushed lip. Wonder if it's possible to professionally modify the solid black factory wheels to get that look on them?

I an O.G. black wheels. This is my 2000 Camaro Z28 (photo taken in 2000). The wheels are from a 1996 Corvette Grand Sport (OEM wheels ordered from dealer back then).

I'll never buy another set of chrome wheels. The last set I had leaked air. It was only a small amount, but it was constant on two wheels. I tried all kinds of fixes, changing tires, reseating them, countless leak checks. Finally, a tire shop found that the chrome had separated from the rim in places underneath the tire bead. Apparently it happens when plating alloy rims. I don't know if this process has been fixed in more recent years, but I'm sticking to black wheels.

Chrome wheels can be a nightmare. I had an AMG Mercedes with them. Same issue.

In my experience aluminum wheels oxidize under the chrome, spreading like a cancer, causing it to leak, chip etc..Usually around the rim after a few tire changes.

The wheels get chipped by installers or curb rash, allowing corrosion. Chrome wheels cannot be restored either. I do like them in some applications. But would not buy them for the above reasons.

Sometimes black looks good with certain body colors. I'm old skool, I still love the old Cragar SS rims, chrome or grey. But I'm not sure how those would look on my car. But they sure looked sharp on the '60's Stangs.
