I didn't go with Hakkes because they aren't as good on cold, dry pavement. Also, I went 295 square for the summer set. Night and day difference in performance. On a warm day, I can't break free like I was everywhere on the 275s. That car is ridiculously under tired from the factory.
I took a gamble. Last year snow here was BAD. I went with pirelli snow tires and they SUCKED. decent dry pavement grip but anything more than dust and they were worse than all seasons. So I went with the nokians, and then it didn't snow LOL. And agreed. That amount of torque on crappy 275's is absolutely miserable, and downright dangerous in quite a few situations. I've had a few scares trying to get out of situations with idiots on the highway.

Sotto Zero's? I ran those in decent snow the first year I had the Mustang. They did very well. I got Michelin Alpin PA4's for the Charger. Didn't see any real snow this winter though...
They weren't sotto zero's. I'd have to look up what they were, I don't believe they're made anymore. To be fair to them, the ones I got while labeled winter tires, they were really meant more for dry cold pavement. Couldn't hold grip for anything in snow even in an ecoboost. With the immense amount of tread that wore off in just one season of winter driving, I wouldn't go back.

Welcome back. Your car is a beauty. Are you considering going to black lugnuts? I think it would look pretty good with the black accent package.

Just picked up the first two items. Clutch spring, and rock guards. As far as lugnuts, I'm not sure. These wheels will be dedicated to winter tires. I'll be picking up a staggered set for summer, and not entirely sure which I'm going to go with yet.

Interesting point on the tune calibration question. Saw on Jay Leno's Garage the GT500 runs a self-conservative tune first 500 miles unless I am mixing that up with another car...watching a lot of youtube car stuff lately!

I just broke 500 miles yesterday. While it could be 100% psychological, it feels MUCH more lively now. Before, on take off it just felt bleh. Not slow, but just didn't want to give it's all as if almost hesitating. I didn't have that issue at all yesterday. Very lively, tires actually chirping (Tried a few times and before it just didn't want to do it), and feels like it's pulling much harder. My scat pack was the same way, but performance wise they turn stuff off, and most agree that after about 1000 the car actually comes alive. Our's was sluggish as hell at first, even the dealer told us to wait until after 1000 to judge it's performance.
