I look at the Youtube channels as another form of entertainment. No different than a TV show or Movie. If you like it, great, if not change the channel. It is reality TV, which for better or worse is what the 21st century has become so far.

could summarize everything in 90 seconds, but video rambles for 20 minutes.

Don't forget that ads are what pays these guys so the longer you can make it the more ad revenue especially if you can make it entertaining enough so that people watch the entire videos.

Hickock45 does a great job of this. I believe Doug Demurro, Straightpipes, and Throttlehouse do as well.

With the amount of phones and mobile devices that watch Youtube and general lack of IT knowledge for most people, I'm sure they still get plenty of ads in. We probably account for like 2% of the people not receiving ads.
