Hey folks, im looking for a smooth polymer intake tube like all the big name brands make. But i need one that is smooth with no hose barbs, sound tube connection etc. Does that exist? Id like to see what is out there for my coyote swap. Throttle body location is similar to a Boss intake. Any insight will be greatly appreciated!

Dang, what shoehorn did you use to get that to fit? Post more pics when you get a chance, or when it's done. Cool project.

I think my '67 with an FE had more shock tower clearance than the new generation "small" blocks. 4valves are wide.

Im really looking for a JLT polymer inlet with provision for MAF, but with no hose barbs etc. Not interested in universal diesel truck type inlets.

Anyone know of mustang specific inlets without the barbs?

I would think you'd want something more solid for the MAF housing other than rubber. Try Power By the Hour. They specialize in Coyote swaps.

Most definitely - you don't want the tubing to collapse - rubber or silicone isn't the answer, more so when the tubing has to be so wide.

Why not just use the proper tube with the barbs BUT take it to a body shop that can shave the barbs off and seal/smooth the tube?

What about one of the GM CAI tubes used for the Vettes?

Exactly i do not want a rubber inlet, as stated several times POLYMER is what im looking for. Not interested in the PBH kit as it looks terrible.

Like this but no barbs...

I can modify one, but would rather run one with those items deleted if that exists. If not ill just build one out of alum. I like the JLT type inlets that are out there because the maf section is large and tapers down smoothly towards the throttle body. That is hard to achieve when building out of aluminum.

You’re out of luck until you decide to reach outside the Mustang bubble.
There’s several “POLYMER” options to be had.
