Short Shifter positioning

we have actually since change it to 20 percent because i did not like the knottiness on track and it seemed to stress the synchs after long usage. the current setting feels perfect with this car.

I highly recommend the MGW but don't recommend the ball type shifter knobs. They take away from the shifter quality. I was, and still am blown away by the changes in feel going from a shit ball to the GT350 knob.

Did you tap the knob or the shaft? was it hard to do?

It wasn't hard for me. Just took a few minutes with a cordless drill. I held the shift knob in one hand drill in the other. Same with the tap, just checked it in the drill and went a little at a time.

I feel like my Barton is really close to the same height of not the same as factory. I went with there 20% throw reduction. Also Barton sells a shaft replacement kit that includes the two post bracket as well. Like 230 bucks for that. Pretty good deal of you don't want to buy a complete shifter.
