Anywhere between 2.5 - 2.7k ...i find around that range the car really starts shifting smooth as butter

Leaving my neighborhood in the morning, I shift at about 1,500 RPM so as not to piss off everyone. My exhaust is LOUD when the engine is cold.
Morning/afternoon traffic: 2,000-3,000
Highway on-ramps: 5,000-6,000 :D
Do you have any videos? I love the H-pipe setup, sounds more old school muscle car. X pipes have too much drone imo.

Around town, with no open roads, I keep my RPMS <2500, so whenever I feel like it to keep them low. There's no sense in burning more fuel. I do that enough when I get an opening on the highway.

I shift between 3k and 4.5k on the street. Usually its ~4k. If revs fall below 3k I'm thinking about downshifting.

5k-redline shifts are not typical unless I'm using full throttle and obviously trying to go fast.

Outside of cruising at a steady speed in 6th, or keeping the revs low for the neighbors, I can't even fathom shifting below 3k. It just feels innately wrong.

That's why I went with the H-pipe as well. Love that classic rumble! Here's a clip I've posted on M6G a few times. This is immediately after start up, so it's loud, then eases up a bit after I rev it.

I never look at the tach unless I'm revving very high and need to watch the redline. Otherwise, I just shift when it feels and sounds right.
