The only thing you need to do to learn to drive a manual is learn on other peoples clutches, spread that learning curve out before buying your own.

just get a job as a valet. Practice while people dine. That’s how my nephew learned.

I thought it was just idle air control at work.
Nope. It legit revs the engine to the optimum rpm. I thought I was just bad because I kept lurching in first because of it (too much throttle). Then I just stopped using it. It makes stop and go really easy, as well as pulling into tight garages and such.
