Hope you all have been able to get your Shelbys out for a ride?

It's disgusting.Move to MN, same old, same old. Here in eastern Iowa, the temps are certainly where they need to be to bring the car out of hibernation (since early November), but along with waiting for a few good rains to wash the roads, our roads here in the Quad Cities are in SUCH miserable conditions that I feel it'll be another month or two before I'd feel confident in not destroying the car by going for a leisure drive.
On top of road repairs needed (they really just need to completely repave at least 50% of the main roads here), there will then be all the loose sand and pebbles strewn everywhere thanks to the shitty patch jobs. Damn Davenport for their over-use of salt every chance they get. It's disgusting.
I'm not bitter or anything...
PPF and I stay off the interstate roads untill regular traffic blows the sand off.It was a nice weekend here in Minnesota. But yeah there is still a lot of sand/rocks/salt residue on the roads.
Waiting to get my PPF on myself.
Fustrating to say the least. At best I'd get 30-60 seconds of spririted driving in at a time. Even the highways had the pothole repair crews closing down 1 oor 2 lanes.
I guess it's the kid still in us, enjoy. Finally outta hibernation last Monday. Had Xpel PPF installed on the front, then took it for a "spirited" drive, first time in "Sport" driving mode. Lot's of fun on twisty roads! Currently 71 miles on the car!
