Henry Ford had nothing to do with the development of this car either, but his name's all over it.

Sometimes a name on a car is a nod to a legacy...
Good point LOL. I'm no fan of Shelby but his name should be considered a legacy at Ford and don't mind buying a Shelby GT350. And we are not over paying for these cars. . . Look at Z28 pricing as a comparo. Half the chicks at rodeos and strip clubs use that name.

And now, Z28, on the main stage.

Damn, I'm out of dollar bills...:D

In 2 years or so, the new GT500 may be out and I'll probably end up with that. I wanted to have the 2016 GT350R for 2 years and trade that in towards the new GT500. (If it does come out. :ninja:)
You can bet on the GT500 coming out in the near furture and I suggest that there will be a 50th Anniversary 2017 GT500 followed up in 2018 with a 50th Anniversary GT500KR.
Also, keep on the look out for a Mach 1 sometime in the 2018 MY.
If you are willing to wait for a GT500 your patience will certainly be rewarded and maybe sooner than you think!
SO, there is a definitely a GT500 coming out in the near future?
If that is the case, I may just wait for that. It's gotta be a big V8 with stupid power and gobs of torque for me. I'm sure it will. Thanks man!

And now, Z28, on the main stage.
Damn, I'm out of dollar bills...:D
I got you covered bro!
Let's hit the club and support those hard working college girls!! :headbang:

Hi, my name is . . . I am addicted to Mustangs and SVT cars.

They could have called it a Boss, I'd still be all in if it is identically configured.

Just FYI a 13' Boss 302 has been sitting on a Dodge dealer lot here since June 2nd, they were asking 43K, still there but a GT500 they had moved in less than a week.

My trip to Shelby American this summer only bolstered the lust more. Knowing full well they would not have any equity in the 16' GT350.

Still looking to see if they will repro the SVO mantra with the eco-boost? I loved my 84 SVO, it was a blast. Although it did not have a persons name, it was still way ahead of production Mustangs. MPFI 2 years before the 86 5.0s, 16" alloys not on production until 91, Koni's all the way around. Oh, and adjustable boost via the AKA fuel selector (premium fuel). If only they could have squeezed a few more RPMs and HP out of the 2.3.

Just so ya know I think your all full of shite. Why can't we just be happy we can afford and get one of these special cars. I don't care who's name is on it, all I know is it will be a running bitch. I can't wait to burn a c7 and a 911 GT3. Nuf said.

Agreed. But since I can't drive the car, might as well speculate. Honestly I am ok with a slide to the right just a bit. Need time to resource the ADM I still have to pay.

Saw a modified C6 (turbo) trying to taunt a Ferrari 355 on the way to work. Made me want to be in the GT350 just to be the serious one in the crowd. The pic is blurry and the C6 is out of the shot. Not to important though, just another blue Vette.
