Thanks for sharing - wish they’d shave $15 off and keep the fancy tin it comes in haha. The marketing genius continues! I’m torn on this one - would like the feel of billet but I’m torn on the look. Have you installed it? Would love to see a photo from further back to put more of the interior in context. Thanks again, sure many will jump on it.

I haven’t purchased one but have toyed with it. I think a billet button would look pretty awesome. From what I gather, install is pretty easy. Disconnect the battery, use a little pick to pop the existing button out and pop the new one in.

I do agree on the price, while the tin is a cool piece, I’d rather the packaging be a little less fancy and shave a little off the price. I’m sure the quality is top notch though, quite a few folks on here have the 5 Spurs arm rest, knob covers, etc and love them.

I can vouch for the arm rest, it's definitely a quality piece.

I have the arm rest and their standard red billet button. Only issue I had is that I killed the OEM button cap pulling the cap off.

I ordered this but the button is too small, does not fit at all. Going to see about returning it.

Wow that sucks. That’s surprising given the fact that 5 Spurs has made other start buttons for S550 for quite some time now. Hopefully they are able to take it back (or provide a new one that actually fits)

Interesting it's too small. That button and surrounding trim should be standard across the board.

And just to play the other side in the interest of good fun, I'm totally a packaging guy. Good packaging means everything. It's a sign of quality, craftsmanship, and how a company cares about their product, and it contributes to the total experience of getting something nice and new.

This is my mistake. I was thinking it snapped onto the existing button and did not realize you have to remove the OEM button to snap this new one on.

wish I had realized that before I purchased this. Not sure I want to try and remove the OEM and risk scratching or breaking the plastic.

Oh got it. Yeah it’s a full replacement. There’s a couple different ways to remove the existing one. The “proper” way to do it is to remove the whole bezel but that’s a pretty involved process. CJ Pony Parts has a video on how to do it without removing the bezel (linked below). Involves a small pick and being very careful. Also included a video from FP.

I got taken for $30 for this little felt decal. It's actually kind of cool and has good detail...but i think I even paid shipping. 😅 Probably got me for $35 total and took 3 weeks to arrive. A fool and his money.

I haven't installed it yet. Still getting over the cost for a fuzzy postage stamp.

That does look cool but yikes $35 all in for some felt! Guess there’s worse things to spend $35 on though…
