For those of you that use your S550's mostly for drag use, I figured I would share this.

I have been running the Aerospace front Pro Street 13" Brakes on my S550 for over 2 years now. I have over 7,000 miles on them and have stopped HARD from over 140mph, atleast 100+ times. These saved 50lbs exactly on my nonPP GT.

Recently I discovered they were doing a 35% AND Free Shipping sale so I scooped up the rear brakes, that save 35lbs.

For $1652 shipped, I feel this is an incredible offer and I just had to share it. I am not affiliated with Aerospace in any way - I am a customer who uses their parts and I have had great luck with them.

Pic 1 is my fronts I put on in 2014.

Pic 2 is the rears that just got delivered to me.

Pic 3 is a photo of the cart on their site with the codes "ID" and "FS" that put the total Front and Rear package at an incredible $1652 shipped.

I would assume that such large reduction in rotating weight can even be felt in normal driving.

Nice, how do they compare on the street with the oem 4 piston brakes where stopping power is concerned! Because i hit the track from time to time but im mostly on the street!

I spoke with Aerospace (or someone selling their stuff?) at the drag event at Commerce and they said these are intended for drag cars, not someone like me who road courses. These, I assume, are not on the car you road course - right?

Thanks for this info! I picked up a set with the pro street rears as well. I saved almost $1000 with those codes!. It was like getting the rear set for free! I can't wait to get mine. I will just hold on to my PP brembos in case I want to take the car to a track with turns, haha. I have never really felt like I needed the 6 pistons for street driving, almost too sensitive.

Thanks Kelly for the tip .
I have heard of this sale and have been waiting but I had no idea when.

I have the Baer front and rear on my KB car but had been thinking of the "dual" rear kit for my Hellion car as I heard it would help build boost of the line .

The dual is a little heavier (31 vs 28 ) and bit more expensive but more saving with the 35 % off.

Any thoughts on if the "dual kit " is worth the additional weight /cost on a turbo car ?
I need to pull the trigger on this before the sale ends.

Also any concerns with the rear drag kit since they are recommended for cars under 3000 lbs?

Ive had more drag race cars then I can count, heavy to super light, you can usually get away with smaller and lighter brakes on a heavy car, it just wont stop as fast and you'll have to get after the brake pedal harder on the shut down. The rotors can score up a bit and you might go thru brake pads faster, but its livable when necessary. Ill keep my stock fronts since my car is still a street car, but really need a 15" wheel to hook it. I wont even consider these unless they can use a 15" rear wheel.

You really want to be king of the fast list. To drop enough coin to get these bad boys and the 10th they'll shave.

LOL, these are petty cash. I think the rears carbon brakes on my dragster were over 4k. I hate that were so limited with tires on the 17" wheel, would like to get away from that. Sadly my local track prep is very inconsistent, hence the 15" wheel, but if its not a simple easy deal, I'm not interested. I don't care about the fast list at all, had this go fast disease for over 30 years, its always been a game to make the car faster at a rapid rate.

I understand the sickness. I'd like to see my 95gt in the 8s before the year is over. I have wilwoods for the 95. Not sure I'd want them on a daily driver.

I am hoping the dual rear drag brakes will help my turbo car by helping build boost .....and they look a lot better than the stock brakes .
I will be keeping the fronts stock .
