Shaun @ AED - Tuning

I originally posted this in my local section for some of the guys running similar setup but thought I'd put it here for general audience.

Just thought I'd share what seems like spectacular customer service from Shaun over at AED. Without any additional mods or reaching out to him following the ff tune we finished a month or more ago, out of the blue yesterday he sends me a tune revision with some tranny tweaks to increase performance. To me seems like going above and beyond anything expected. Anyone on the cusp of ordering a tune keep that in mind. Not to mention the experience of working with him from start to finish during the original logging and tuning process.

Yep, I'm one of the local AZ guys and couldn't be happier. Just had the mak cat deletes installed, Shaun did an update, runs flawless.

I might just be really sensitive, but he couldn't get it to be to my liking with the '18 manifold. It had some surging because of the physical design of the TB, and he said this is just how it is. The stock TB was much better. I know he's got it down better than anyone else, but the drivability wasn't there for me, nor was idle stability.

There is a touch of rev hang but no surging. I think its as good as it can get, the E85 cold start is a bit touchy but I have heard the same complaint from most tuners regarding that. Shaun said its something to do with tables in the ECU that SCT cannot modify.

It’s too bad (for me anyways), I wanted him to do my tune but I wanted an nGauge and he couldn’t do it.
