I even sent an email to Recaro trying to get info on the dimensions to figure out whether I would fit. No reply. I guess they don't need my business.

Looks like the GT Recaros are about the same as the ones from the boss right? I liked those on a test drive I did a year ago. If the 350 seats were like that Id do the track pack. These seats don't look as forgiving on the sides and butt as far as bolstering goes. :-(

They appear to be the same model seat. There may be small differences but should be relatively close in seat feel and comfort. I had the FRPP recaros in my 2011 and found them to be quite comfortable. Hoping the GT350s are the same (im 5'10 200lbs 34 waist)

Because of its contractual agreement with Ford (and other manufacturers, I'm sure), Recaro is prohibited from talking to customers about the seats it produces for OEM use. Recaro normally would just refer you back to Ford.

I'm 5'9" 175 lbs., and never have been able to get comfortable in a Recaro with nonadjustable side bolsters because I have wide shoulders. You and I may be able to wear exactly the same size L or XL shirt, but we "wear" seats differently. That's why you really need to try 'em before you buy 'em.

Also, the Tech seats are pretty well-bolstered and have "suede" on the seating areas, and with a harness for the track you will not be moving around at all.

If they had done that I would have been pleased. As it is I just feel ignored.

FWIW, Recaro sold off its automotive seat division to Johnson Controls and sold them the rights to use the Recarro name. Johnson makes all the seats for Ford.

Not sure if it's true with the Mustang but the frame for the Recarro seat supplied in the Focus ST is the same as the standard seats. They used different plastic supports, foam and of course the covers.

Well yeh but the 350 is general even base is a track car I meant, and they use the sameish seats as the GT. Sport/spirited driving, not necessarily full racing though. I think Ford did a really good job with the non-Recaro seats this year.

Very true indeed. I sat in an $85,000 Cayman S yesterday and didn't think the seats in that car felt as good as the those in the GT.

Recarro still exists but is no longer in the automotive seat business.

I got you all beat... 6'1", 225lbs and a 50-52" shoulder. I fit just fine in my B302 Recaros. In fact, love those seats much better than my 2013 F150 SCREW seats.

I'm 6' 200lbs with wide shoulders as well and used to daily drive with a recaro pole position so not to worried about it
