Just looking for information from those who went FI route with Mustang. I have an idea on route I want to take with SC this spring. Just wanted to here the experiences of those already been there - done that.

  • Year and level of trim:
  • Type of FI:
  • Suspension Mods
  • Rear Ration: 3:73. 3:55 etc.
  • OPG and CS: Yes or No
  • Wheel sizes with Off set:
  • Clutch, half shaft and drive shaft changes
  • How is car driven?
    • DD, Weekend warrior with some digs playing on the street.
    • 1/4 mile runs or road course
    • Weekend warrior driving for fun

Asking those questions is like asking what kind of oil to use.

There are so many options, and none are wrong.

Better question is, what are your plans for the car?

Better question is, what are your plans for the car?
Just looking at what others are running to decide my path. Majority of time enjoying the ride, roll WOT with very little digs

Still figuring out exactly whats on this car - bought it from a Ford dealer lot only BC it had the SC on it already. Best I can tell its a mostly stock 16 GT/CS with A6. Previous owner had VMP 2.3 charger system installed and put on Magnaflow comp cat back exhaust. VMP tuned it. AFAIK, everything else is stock. Very happy with the car. Tune is not the best. Shift points and throttle control are squirrely. Use it as my DD.

  • Type of FI: Edelbrock 2300 supercharger
  • Suspension Mods: Eibach springs, mixture of Steeda and BMR rear subframe bits
  • Rear Ration: 3:73. 3:55 etc. Was 3.55 just swapped to 3.15
  • OPG and CS: Yes
  • Wheel sizes with Off set: 19x10 et35 19x11 et50
  • Clutch, half shaft and drive shaft changes:GT350 half shafts
  • How is car driven: Family car but built to do the standing mile.

  • Suspension Mods: Steeda Pro-Action shocks, GT350R springs, BMR CB005, BK081, Poly diff bushings
  • Rear Ration: 3:73. 3:55 etc.: 3.55 in Aluminum diff housing (auto)
  • OPG and CS: Yes or No: Yes
  • Wheel sizes with Off set: MRR M350 with 305/35/19 rear tire
  • Clutch, half shaft and drive shaft changes: Shaftmasters driveshaft, everything else stock
  • How is car driven?: Part DD, weekend car, long road trips, roll racing, and driven hard any chance I get. 170mph+ pulls
