Check for error codes and see if you have a " Random Misfire" error.
I have no error codes coming up :( I am going to plug in my regular OBDII code reader and see if anything pops up.

Just double checked my DTC's with my regular OBDII code reader and it just gave me the common "de-energize" code that is expected to pop up a few times. Other than that, nothing.

Mine gave some pretty bad hesitation in 3rd in the lower Rpms but when I switched to bigger tb and new injectors pretty much solved it for me

Yea, I heard that the standard TB has caused sum small issues before. I was hoping to leapfrog any of these issues by going with the bigger TB and 72# injectors. Just sucks cause it puts a damper on the enjoyment of the Whipple. The power is still there and the fun factor is there for sure. I just want it to run smoother. I ain't looking for perfection, just a lot less hesitation and dead spots. When I change any of the settings in flight control it seems to get much worse instantly. So I have just left it on "default settings" recently. This reduces the frequency of the issue and the severity of it. I don't have the knowledge to say flight control has ANYTHING to do with it at all. As it would seem it should not affect it at all like that. But it's not my imagination in the way the car feels if I use flight control. it's very noticeable.

lol Yea, I had mine set 1st -25% 2nd -15% and 3rd -5%. Even with default settings I can get on it pretty good in 2nd. Not all out, or I will be sideways, but can definitely get on it pretty good in 2nd. And 3rd n 4th I can basically go all out. Just gotta watch that shift from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th. If really on it hard.. those shifts will both break the tires loose lol I LOVE the Whipple power, and I love the instant power a SC delivers. I am used to turbo lag in my life.. so this was new lol

Yeah that 2nd to 3rd fast shift almost got me when I was on the stock pzeros lol but I'm not used to anything this fast first forced induction car and I'm loving it I'm gonna pulley down to 3.625 and taking it to keystone here soon hoping I don't break stock halfshafts on a idle launch.. You gotta get out and start beating on the subarus around here lol

hahaha People are just no fun :( Even in my Mazdaspeed6 I try to get ppl to do at least a quick roll race, and nobody seems to bite. Although my Speed6 is a bit of a sleeper. Most ppl just look at it as a dumb old sedan.. until it's blowing by them lol To be clear.. I am a grown man, and I am not out dangerously street racing. I pick my moments and consider my surroundings carefully before I consider it at all.

I've noticed the same thing seems when at medium load and when it transitions into boost there is a hiccup, or buck then it works through it. It is not doubt happening and is worse depending on load on the motor. I would be curious how many others have this issue and if whipple has any thoughts or tech info for us.

I had the boost transition hiccup and changed the bypass valve with an updated one from whipple and it is now seamless.

Interesting for sure, but how old was your bypass? Is there a new design that you know of. My system was delivered Jan 2016, is there a newer improved bypass?
