SC and Half Shaft Question

Rolls don't break half shafts, digs do. How ever they can break when launching NA, they can break during just the burn out. I would 100% recommend at least upgrading to the '20 GT500 half shafts, they'e like $350 each. How ever if you plan to really race the car, at least grab some DSS Renegades
Do you know the part# for the ‘20 GT500 axles?

Also, you're generally okay on a street tire without wheel hop, on an unprepped surface. Prep makes a huge difference, and wheel hop can destroy anything even a CF driveshaft.

I'm still on stock half shafts. Bias ply rears for the strip where I just slip the clutch, however, I don't go to the strip all the time, best 9.7 1/4.

I do quite a bit of rolling racing mainly 40-140 and 60-160; haven't had any problems.

I excepted my half shafts to fail a while ago so now I just have half shaft replacement money burning a hole in my pocket. I'm sure they'll go once I blow that money, haha.

You have the link or part number of 2020 Gt500 half haft ?

In my case, the stock half shafts on drag radials produced wheel hop when the car had only headers, CAI and a PBD E70 tune making 475. Right after I installed my supercharger, I got a set of GT350 Half Shafts for a little over $300 and a Steeda IRS Alignment Kit. The extra weight and strength of the new half shafts and the alignment kit combined to eliminate my wheel hop and give me a little peace of mind. In Drag Mode with my PBD tune, the 10r80 really bangs the gears hard...
