I guess this is somewhat of a dumb question, but is it possible to buy a F1A from procharger and run it at low boost?(650hp or so) I'm wondering because eventually(2-4 years from now) I'm going to be buying a built shortblock that can handle 1k-1.2k

There are a LOT of people that do that!!!!

The F1-A has a very robust boost curve, even at lower power levels.
However the F-1A-94, I would not recommend turned down that far.

Lots of 2003-2004 Cobra guys, and LSx guys use the F-1A just as you are wanting.
