I think there will be a pretty decent jump in cars on the market, but I also feel that it will be gradual vs a spike. With Ford making the 350 for yet another year (so much for a rare car, huh?), I'm not sure how that will (if at all) affect the initial production volume of the GT500 if there is overlap. Regardless, initial trade ins for factory orders and the first few hundred that hit dealer lots are going to be slow coming along. Plus there are a lot of people out there that are going to be trading mustangs other than the GT350/outright buying the new GT500. So I think there will be an influx, but it'll be a gradual one, at least in the initial few months. The other thing to remember here is while the GT500 is the shiny new toy, the GT350 is still a special car that a lot of us are going to hold on to because of what it is.Prediction OPINIONS wanted! Do you predict an influx of used GT350's to come on the market when the GT500 is re-released? How many plan on trading in your GT350 for the GT500?? This could be very good for me.
Actually, they are not. Nothing beats real track time, just you, the apex and the Voodoo ...I am not tracking it, but the Green Mountain roads are just as much fun to rip on IMO. And with the Borla ATAK I have on it, and the total lack of traffic in Northern VT, I have no issues hearing it... ever.
Fair enough. I may track it in the future but for right now I'm staying on the road. I want to get really confident in my abilities with the car before I track it so I don't end up looking like one of those Nurburgring fail videos lolActually, they are not. Thats kind of how I'm thinking. I'm hoping that the GT500 comes out early 2019 (or at least pre-orders) so by summer there will be some more options for used GT350's. Anyone planning on doing this trade up, keep me in mind.I think there will be a pretty decent jump in cars on the market, but I also feel that it will be gradual vs a spike. Also, we don't have a price point on the 500 to my knowledge; if we do someone correct me. But I can almost guarantee the 500 is going to be more expensive than the 350, which was a $60,000 car before ADM. If it's a lot more expensive, plus ridiculous ADM, then that may deter people from trading in for the 500 due to cost.
This is all just my speculation and I have no solid data to back it up though.
I'd sell you mine but I'm out of your price point by a solid margin. Honestly, because you;re not in a hurry I would suggest that you maybe look for a new 16 or 17 when the 500 hits the market. You will have a lot of leverage to use on a dealer because they're going to be desperate to get the 350's off the lot to clear capitol for the 500s. Even now, there are still a bunch of brand new 2016's on the lots with pretty hefty discounts. If your plan is to get a used 2016 and then dump a few grand into it for the coolers anyway, you may be pleasantly surprised to find out that you can score a TP '16 or a '17, brand new for close to your price point.Thats kind of how I'm thinking. I honestly have no intention to track it. I would, however like to have the piece of mind of having the trans and diff. Cooler. So I just have to decide if it's worth the money for me to jump from a 16 to a 17 for that reason. PM me about yours, in a few months I may be in a different situation.I'd sell you mine but I'm out of your price point by a solid margin. Why not a lightly used 19 Bullitt? Still get some exclusivity, def cheaper, Bullitts are badass, maintenance costs are less. My Bullitt gets more comments on the road than the 350. Get the magneride and recaros and strap yourself in for some fun. Bullitts sound badass too. anyway head on down to the Bullitt forum and read the buyers remorse thread.Got an insurance dividend check yesterday - $202 BANKED
