Hi all - mind helping me with a sanity check on my vacuum lines after the CMCV/IRMC lockout on my GT350 Manifold? I also have an EVAP delete and PCV run to vented catch can vs. back into the manifold/intake. Does this routing look right?

All CMCV/IRMC sensors and actuators removed, vacuum port capped, and the lines running to the back of the intake removed.

At the front, I've capped the EVAP port with a lockout plate and then capped the two places where lines branched off the vacuum hoses to run to the back (indicated by arrows). Vacuum line running to intake (in front of throttle body) still intact.

Are you having problems with oil control, or misting in the intake side? Or is this for tidiness, weight/ junk removal from the car?

I'd have trouble sleeping at night knowing there was something on top of the engine that said "Coyote".

The oil cooling mod was too close for comfort and I'd heard that the CMCV/IRMC lockouts really aren't need anyways for track use, so I just removed them. We'll see tomorrow morning how it works out.

I'd have trouble sleeping at night knowing there was something on top of the engine that said "Coyote".
:crackup::crackup::crackup:

Better than a plugged EVAP sensor tho!

Where's the fun in that? :)

Hmm...I haven't. Shaun sent me updated tunes, but I didn't ask him to verify the vacuum line routing. Will do that now.

Perhaps :)

I presume the updated tunes are to keep the ECU from throwing a tantrum because it misses all those recently departed emissions components.

Haven't you installed a set of those lovely aluminum cam covers yet? Or did you get a set and paint them black so they'd look like the plastic ones?

Yeah. Supposedly you not only need to suppress the code it throws, but also change some stuff in the tune since it no long has the ability to open/close IRMCs and needs a minor change down low to compensate.

It's a bit of a bucking bronco at low RPM. Stalled it 2x till I got used to it. Does feel a bit snappier at 2200ish rpm tho.

And lovely aluminum cam covers? I'm unaware. Pics?

hi did you had any issues after this setup?
I have 2021 gt I am swapping IM to gt350 IM and going to setup like yours since I cant find another way around. Having a hard time finding PCV port for the oil can catcher. I did found Coyote evap delete plate though. any suggestions would be helpful Thank you

It works just fine if you get the car tuned. Make sure to data log - don't just suppress the code.

How come you're swapping this onto a 21? The 18+ manifolds are great and if I recall, pretty much match the GT350 manifold.

Edit: yep, here you go https://www.motortrend.com/how-to/dyno-every-ford-coyote-intake-manifold-on-gen-3-crate/

Thank you for the reply. I was watching videos and americanmuscle.com reviews on how swapping to gt350 IM with 87 MM TB and 47 lbs injectors with E85 and tunes can make some good HP. Before I ordered I asked them if I need anything else they said 87mm TB and fuel injectors the rest is plug n play but forgot to mention about IMRC/CMCV as well as PCV and EVAP pipe as you can see in pictures. So you think I shouldn't swap and just keep 2021 IM? What If I keep it stock with 87M 47 lbs injectors and tune to E85? Any advise would be great. I don't really do tracks its just a fun car for daily drive. Thank you

Stock manifold with larger TB, fuel injectors, and E85 tune would be my recommendation. You'll get a nice boost and snappier throttle without having any of the issues of dealing with lockout. The lockout isn't the end of the world, but you definitely feel it at low RPM. I stalled more than a few times in the paddock trying not to rev it out to 3k just trying to start rolling ha
