Did you mean to write "Ford won't fix it" in place of "fit it"
If I was the dealer I would have my body shop fix it and make you happy.
I would order pizza for you while my porters get your car ready when you come to fetch it.
I would hope you come back for your next car buy.

But, I am not the dealer.

On the topic of fit it, and maybe it is because your car is white, the front edge of the hood fit looks out-too high.
I had this problem on my '17 and fixed it. On my car the hood was creeping up from the nose. Bad situation at speed.
Carefully removed the cover in front of the radiator. One of the two screws that holds the hood lock assembly was missing.
Pulled the assembly full down. Replaced the missing screw. Tightened it up. Hood is flush with leading edge.

Definitely try another dealer. We do a TON of these repairs, and lately many more replacements.

So sad that I have a car this nice and Ford refused to fix the only paint flaw on the car. ( The dreaded hood corrosion) So just wondering should I keep trying dealership after dealership or should I just suck it up a pay to have it fixed myself?

If you haven’t already file a claim with Ford immediately. The dealers you’ve been to are being total assholes. If you just go away, they’ve won. It’s deplorable that you’re being treated this way.

For those that do not know, Ford released the 19-2026 TSB (attached) to revise coverage of the models noted within the TSB and repair directive to Service Centers.

1) Despite the TSB, the Ford Paint and Corrosion Warranty in your Owner’s Manual is what applies to the vehicle. IF your 3/36 is expired, the “extended 5yr” Paint/Corrosion Warranty is the default. If in your Owner’s Manual there is explicit wording for your model year Paint & Corrosion Warranty, the TSB does not override it.

2) Unfortunately, the 2015 S550 is an exclusion and as such, some Owners have had a difficult time getting warranty work for paint bubbling. The 2015 P&C Warranty explicitly states the panel must have perforation before Ford will even authorize paint warranty work. This means that if a 2015 has bubbling on the panel, Ford won’t authorize the paint repair UNLESS there IS visible perforation. Most 2015’s are now beyond the 3/36, so those vehicles default to the 5yr P&C warranty provisions.

3) Ford changed the P&C Warranty verbiage for 2016; a 2016+ S550 does NOT need to show perforation of the panel for paint Warranty work. If a 2016+ S550 has bubbling on the hood, Ford will authorize paint warranty work without perforation. If the panel has corrosion, per the TSB it should be replaced. Again if the 3/36 is expired, the “extended 5yr” P&C is the default for Warranty work.

The wording of the TSB can be confusing, so read the TSB and consult your Owner’s Manual actual P&C coverage.

I have already spoken with my wallet and refused a deal on a Ranger that I needed for my winter vehicle and purchase a GMC Canyon. They knew the deal hinged on the repairs done under warranty and still couldn't do it. goodbye Ford.

Both dealers didn't seem to care about the new truck sale. I personally have known one of the salesman for years and he couldn't do anything. Crazy attitude because they do have funds available form Ford to help in these situations. They used them when the A/C crapped out 2 weeks out of warranty.

Looks like a rock chip OP, no dealer will fix under warranty. 800 miles on mine and I had 3 chips on the front, decided to put Xpel wrap on.

The Dealer should just be the middleman submitting a claim to Ford, and they should review the requirements and submit what Ford demands for warranty consideration. If you have the corrosion under the lip too, this should be an easy win. You need another dealer, one willing to work with you.They should be able to hand you in writing Fords response to the Claim, with the exact cause for rejection. That's what I got on my first submission, my rejection was "No Perforation Seen", so we scraped off the bubbled paint to show pitted aluminum, resubmitted and I have a NEW hood.
