I'll ask the dumb question, can we assume then that these are plug and play for 18-23? I mean, I'm ordering a set pronto if that is the case.

I think the driver's seat is a safe assumption.

I do not think the passenger seat is. I believe the S650 OCS sensor is different and you would need to swap in an 18-23 OCS sensor.

S650: PR3B-14B422-AD
S550.2: JR3B-603B16-AB
S550.1: FR3B-603B16-AE

With that said, swapping the OCS sensor is far easier than I expected. The seat bottom is very easy to unclip and just push away like I show in the pic in a previous post.

All done. I just needed to swap the OCS sensor and reset codes, same process as putting an 18-23 seat in a 15-17.

Money shot first:

OCS sensors side-by-side, S650 Recaro sensor seems to have foregone the insulation

You just need to unclip the seat bottom to remove the OCS

Is it just me or does that 1st money shot look like the ghost mask from Scream? 😂

I really like them BTW, its just what my weird little brain computed! Ha ha

OP, are you still satisfied with the swap? What codes came up and how did you reset them?
JR3B-603B16-AB shows up on the internet as for 2015-2020. Thought the S550.2 was 2018-2023?
Thank you!

Hey, sorry I haven't been on M6G in a while.

Yes, I am still 100% satisfied with the swap. Just had the car at the track yesterday, and these are definitely better than the slippery sofas side-to-side.

I apologize but I did not write down what codes came up. I reset them with Forscan.

No worries and thank you! I actually ended up putting GT350 seats in mine and am pretty happy with them.

Those are NICE!

If you were around during the original 5.0 movement with the Fox Mustang, Ford Motorsport offered the SVO style seats with the “Ford Motorsport” and Ford Oval embossed into the seat back like your modern Ford Performance seats.

I had a set of the FMS seats in a Fox Mustang, sweet seats. Today those FMS seats are extremely rare and hard to find. If sets pop up for sale, they’re now in excess of $1500+ depending on condition…. 30+ years ago, you could pick them up anywhere for $250-$300 depending on condition. The 84-86 SVO seats had NO embossing in the seat back.
