Glad he was safe. Almost couldn't even tell when he hit something, airbags just popped.
Thank goodness for airbags. Even though he didn’t need them the time it takes them to inflate is incredible.

Looked like it was to fast rear dropped into the grass. Maybe backed into the wall. I don't think air bags are directional.

Spoken from experience - I still get pissed at that dickhead in the Porsche who wrecked you.

Looks like the car snaps just before he exists the corner and looks like he was fully on the track.

Thinking he either exceeded the grip of his tires or maybe there was some debris or fluid that caused the sudden snap.

Short wheelbase RWD cars are super unforgiving in a scenario like that. Fortunately his slide bled off a lot of momentum. Sucks but he is super fortunate it didn’t snap and send him directly into the wall.

Damn, that’s really too bad. I keep going over and over it. It does look like he indeed hit the wall if you pay attention to his helmet during the airbag explosion - looks like an impact due to the violet helmet movement.
More importantly, is there anything he could’ve done to prevent this? Minus going slower.
Should he not have corrected the left wheel turn so much?

S2000's are known for "snap oversteer"

Same thing happened to me at about 1/2 that speed. An S2000 will swap ends in a blink of an eye. It feels like the suspension just gives up.
