Is it possible to set the suspension (MagnaRide) to normal and have the track setting stability control off but advance-trak on (basically track mode but normal shock setting)?
I don't see where I can have the suspension soft but leave some "slippage" for wet conditions without turning the whole stability control system off.

This is from manual on page 176. I haven't yet been discovering how the track mode version and the ESC button version differ. Didn't try pressing twice for "Sport mode" either, never even heard it about that. But as you can see, short press of ESC button disables traction control, long press disables both traction and stability control.

Short answer - no.

Longer answer - it is doable with DSC controller as you can upload whatever suspension calibration you want as one that comes up in a Track mode. In a stock car with stock VDM - don't think it is possible.

(this all applies to GT, I assume it is the same for Mach 1)

GT350s allow for independent suspension modes (from everything else) so it might be possible there (on a stock VDM).

That is helpful, thank you. I suppose I need to grow up and run with everything off in wet conditions, then I can have the soft suspension. Was my first full weekend at the track and we had afternoon rain. I always run rain sessions, they are good training, unfortunately my two track friends packed it up and went home.

In the M1 I can never get "sport" mode to activate by the two rapid presses. On the S197, it was easy to do, I liked sport traction and ESC mode a lot in that car.

I have driven in all other modes according to the chart.

Isn't "Sport mode" A10 exclusive?
It very well could be, I don't know. Notice the manual says "if equipped" so this may be my problem.

On the manual S197s sport tracking mode existed, two quick pushes and it would activate.
