Not a Mach 1 hat, just the pony, but I appreciate little gestures like that.

See if you can get a second hat out of em later this week. ;) I like that the color of the hat matches the car, perfect.

Make sure you get a matching cover too...

that the factory cover? I would like one, but all I have is a carport at the moment, so I need an outdoor cover.

Get one anyway. That way youā€™ll have it for down the road!
I'm not like the rest of you, buying new sports cars every 6 months  . this is the first new vehicle I have bought in 20 years, and I still have that one. and it will likely be the last new vehicle I ever buy. having to make some sacrifices for it too. that $500 for a cover I can't use is pretty hefty

Itā€™s whatever one came with the car...or at least came with the car for an extra $450 . Normally Iā€™d have haggled that out of the deal, but my son was my salesman so I just rolled with it. Probably rarely use it, but itā€™s cool to have in my trunk.

Will post more tomorrow because Iā€™m whipped and heading to bed, but I did my first track day with the Mach 1 today. Surpassed all my expectations. It was my first track day in 2 years, but I beat my best times from my ā€˜19 Vette Grand Sport. Never thought that would happen in a Mustang. No issues with the car (except that it likes to eat tires and gas) - it performed like a beast. Just...wow.

guessing the weight of the car does not help with tire life huh? something with same power to weight/performance, but much less weight would probably do alot less wear?

I also didnā€™t reset the camber and stuff for the track, so I got more edge wear than I should have. The weight of the car doesnā€™t help though. Iā€™ll probably switch to Pilot Super Sports like my Grand Sport had - better for street/year round weather use, but still very good on the track with far less wear.
