Hey guys anyone with a tune run a step colder plug? I know the ST responded well to cold plugs and usually picked up a bit of extra power. Also for the vendors any recomendations for plug temp rating?

I think Torrie did mention adjusting his tune for different plugs but I never heard much more afterwards. Im hoping they might be one of the links in cracking the 300/400 hp/tq threshold.

I know in other tuned DI turbo platforms one to two step colder is almost always recommended, I would suspect the same here.

I am going to order a set of NGK6510s. You just reminded me!

Would you recommend those ones to anyone modifying their ecostang?

They were recommended to me by Torrie. Ford runs them in the other EB offerings.

+1

I would recommend using colder plugs with any aftermarket tune. FRPP requires them with the ST tune they sell. Funny that many tuners of the ST didn't suggest new plugs until after FRPP did. That's why I'm waiting for their tune.
