I like to disassemble things.
Not a question for you directly, but for all. What are the chances this car could come standard with a roll cage?
About zero. Ford would likely have to recertify for crash testing. Weight would be increased and this car is going to be a fatass as it is.

Wow, if that is true, then this car could have some serious HP and TQ.
My understanding is that Ford met or exceeded power level goals long ago, early in development. Numbers were silly high. I was told it was the rest of the drivetrain that necessitated dialing it back.

If that's true, I bet it's packing 755HP and over 700TQ, similar to the new ZR1.

600-630 range.
So, it'll be close to the 2013/2014 Shelby GT500, power-wise?
Wow, I was under the impression it would have a lot more. By a lot more, I mean more than 730HP and closer to 660TQ. I guess only time will tell. Hopefully it's soon. :ford:

Essentially zero. Ever see a sledge hammer hit a watermelon? That would be the crash results of a roll cage and would never pass. That's for Cobra Jet type race vehicles only.

What are the benefits from using the Gen three coyote vs the Ford performance 5.2 block?
The FP 5.2 is basically still the same as the Gen 2 coyote except PTWA liner and bore, some additional strengthening, and maybe some other small changes. Same architecture though. Whatever advances were made in the Gen 3 they want to utilize for the Predator, and its definitly going to be more robust than gen 2, so they will want to base the 5.2 on the 5.0 gen 3 block.

And I say that because there's about a gap of 90 between HP and TQ on the Gen 3 coyote Roush supercharger. Increase the HP, usually, increase the gap. I'll say a gap of 110 sounds about right

one thing to consider is octane.
benched at 93, I suppose, like most.
wonder if they would be so brave as to run a e85 tune as long as the fuel pump flows well enough. probably not, but just a thought.

Do we know if the Bullitt will be considered Ford Performance? Could this be hinting at a new ST car, or do you think they just used the "STay Tuned" to tie it in with FP?
